Yas Waterworld

Yas Waterworld has something to offer everyone in the family, especially with its family-oriented atmosphere. You can find playgrounds for the little ones as well as swings and slides for them to enjoy. Or if you’re looking for something a little more thrilling then you will find many rides that offer that adrenaline boost. Try the Dawwama ride, which is the world’s largest six-person tornado water coaster. Of course, if you’re looking for something a little more laid back then Al Raha River is just for you as you can lay back and float down this 300m lazy river.

Jubail Mangrove Park

Witness the scenic beauty of Jubail Mangrove Park as you and your family take a stroll around the grounds. You can choose from three different routes to walk along ranging from 1 km to 2 km in length. There are six educational sections that you can stop at in order to read about the surrounding flora and fauna. Find the floating platform that has a see-through net where you can look at the marine life that is swimming beneath you. Let your kids play in the area designated for them or go for a kayaking adventure on the water.

Ferrari World

If you like speed, action, and adventure, prepare yourself as you enter this indoor theme park dedicated to the Formula 1 world and centered on racing. Ferrari World Abu Dhabi is a thrilling park with fun for the whole family. Have you ever wanted to ride the fastest roller coaster in the world, the Formula Rossa? How about getting into an interactive motion simulator where you’ll feel like you’re actually in a real formula one car? Or get into a world-class go-kart on a 290-meter long track and compete with your friends.
Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque

Next on our journey of things to do in Abu Dhabi is the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, which is one of the world’s largest mosques on the planet. It is the size of four football fields and can fit up to 40,000 worshippers and visitors at the same time. Once you see this magnificent structure, it will definitely be a sight you won’t forget. White marble domes, over 1000 exterior columns and 24 carat gold Swarovski crystal chandeliers all come together to create this spectacular mosque.

The park is divided into 6 immersive lands consisting of Warner Bros Plaza, Bedrock, Dynamite Gulch, Cartoon Junction, Gotham City, and Metropolis. Fight side by side with your treasured super hero inside the Joker Funhouse where you’ll take on a series of challenges created by Batman’s nemesis.

Murjan Splash Park

This is a small water park and a great destination for younger kids or anyone who wants to avoid the crowds of the larger water parks. Murjan Splash Park features an undercover main splash structure with a shallow pool, four small slides, a crawl tunnel, and a dipping bucket. You’ll also find a small-scale lazy river to enjoy. As if that wasn’t enough, the park is equipped with water guns in a water war section, bumper boats, and a surf wrangler.

The Corniche

The Corniche is a 5 mile stretch of waterfront that has many small beaches, playgrounds, art installations, and gardens. It’s a major attraction that brings in many people looking to watch the sunset and the sky change beautiful colors over the sparkling body of water. You can go for a swim, take a walk, or just relax with some friends and family. There’s a lot of places you can take pictures, stop and admire the view, and explore the beaches along the way.

KidZania Abu Dhabi

KidZania Abu Dhabi uses the principal of role-play to nurture positive qualities in your kids and help them expand their inventiveness and resourcefulness. It’s a whole city designed just for children with paved roads and buildings to make them feel it’s just like the real thing. KidZania Abu Dhabi is located on the ground floor of Yas Mall and is a great addition to keep in mind while searching for things to do in Abu Dhabi. Once inside your children will find over 40 different activities to participate in.

Kidz Factory

Kidz Factory offers kids several creative ways for them to get in touch with the artist within and tap into their creativity and imagination. It’s an art and hobby edutainment center located inside Dalma Mall. It’s divided into different zones each with a specialized focus. The Tech Lab contains art and hobby classes while The Play Yard is geared more towards soft play areas for your little ones. Other zones include The Tool Shop, Block Dock and Zumba’s Workshop.
